Last week we released version 3.1.0 for all our AlphaNodes Redmine plugins (Enterprise+). These versions are now compatible with Redmine v5.1x and come with new requirements (Ruby v3.0x or higher). We strongly recommend that all Redmine Installations be upgraded to our new minimum requirements before installation.

Redmine ServiceDesk (part of Enterprise+ Bundle) v3.1.0

With the ServiceDesk plugin, externally incoming requests (via email or embedded webform) are managed via a central helpdesk project and handled transparently within yout support agent team.

  • Bug fix: filtering out former helpdesk tickets (due to helpdesk module deactivation) also from subprojects in dashboard block: Helpdesk information & fixing helpdesk settings of filter, because filter is not active without helpdesk
  • Bug fix: do not allow oauth for outgoing mails, if incoming mails does not use it. Means: Oauth for outgoing mails cannot be used without jointly enabled Oauth for incoming mails because the protocol “Microsoft Outlook” will not be selectable.
  • Bug fix: fix timezone bug for new contact notes.
  • Improvement: fix middle name on contact view and optimize sidebar with less contact fields
  • Improvement: show domain name for ignore contact with domain
  • Improvement: tweak css for contact sidebar
  • Improvement: drop calendar helper, which is removed with redmine 5.1
  • Improvement: Security query implemented in relation to time zone bug fix: New contact notes for the future are no longer possible. It must be a date in the past / at the current time.
