Plugin Version 4.2.0 Now Available

With version 4.2.0 of our Redmine plugins, you can expect numerous new features and improvements that make your daily work more efficient. Highlights include new roadmap views and drag & drop functionality in the Reporting Plugin, extended messenger integrations for Automation, and Hetzner support in the DevOps Plugin.

Redmine Automation

With version 4.2.0, you can now automatically send notifications to Matrix and Slack rooms. This keeps your teams informed about important project updates, ticket changes, or other events even outside of Redmine.

  • New: Automation action “Send Matrix message” for Matrix support Enables automatic sending of messages to Matrix rooms. Useful for notifications about project updates, ticket changes, or other important events in Redmine.
  • New: Automation action “Send Slack message” Automation action for sending messages to Slack rooms and Slack-compatible messengers (like Mattermost, Rocket.Chat).

With version 4.2.0, the API permission for HRM user data has been adjusted. Instead of administrator rights, the “HRM view” permission is now sufficient to access HRM-related user information.

With version 4.2.0, you get two new roadmap views for projects and versions that give you a quick visual overview of schedules and milestones. Additionally, you can now move tickets in the Task Board view via drag & drop between status columns – for a significantly faster workflow.

  • New: Project roadmap (new view option Roadmap in the project list) Displays projects with planned start and end dates or with open versions containing both dates in a timeline.
  • New: Drag & drop support in Task Board view – move tickets between status columns with a mouse click. Quick access via the “App menu”.
  • New: Version roadmap (new view option Roadmap in the global version list)
  • New: New filter Plannable for project and version lists to display only open entries with start and end dates.
  • Improvement: Page navigation inserted for member list in project settings (for more than 100 members per page).

With version 4.2.0, you can rename wiki pages via the API and optionally move them to another project.
