A production has a fixed opening night. Stage, technology, workshops, administration and marketing all work towards it. The date cannot move.
Redmine maps productions as projects, with tasks per trade and shared dates. We take over operation, in our cloud in Germany or on your server.
What your team does with it
- Productions as projects. Every trade gets its tasks, everyone sees the same schedule. The status is visible without a group email.
- Requests and incidents. With the ServiceDesk plugin, reports from the house become issues, with an owner and a reply sent from the system.
- Equipment and stock. Lighting, sound, instruments, costumes and maintenance contracts live in the DB plugin, with custom fields and filters.
- Recurring work per season. The Automation plugin creates issues for inspections, maintenance and season preparation.
- Effort per production. The Reporting plugin evaluates spent time by production and period, also for proof of funding use.
Many guest and seasonal staff work at such houses. You pay nothing extra for occasional users here.
- Involve guest staff. External people get access to exactly one project. Roles and permissions decide what they see and may change.
What that means day to day
- Cloud in Germany or your own server. With InHouse operation, SSH access restricted to our IP is enough.
- Redmine and GitLab from one provider. One contact, one server location, connected through the DevOps plugin.
- No user limits. Whether 50 or 500 people work in it, the hosting costs the same.
- We handle the updates. Security patches every four hours, major versions only after a plugin check.
